The Dollar Tree on Lake Flower Avenue in Saranac Lake has the green light to reopen from the village, and a store representative says they plan to reopen for business on March 23. Adirondack Daily Enterprise reports the village code enforcement officer deemed the building “unfit for human occupancy” in February, after a rooftop propane heating unit broke down, leaving the store without heat. The unit has been replaced, and after a fire safety inspection, the store got the OK to reopen.
