CYC Recognizes locals making a difference

CYC RECOGNIZES LOCALS MAKING A DIFFERENCE.

Lake Placid, NY, August 12, 2024 – Lake Placid/Wilmington Connecting Youth and Communities Coalition, Inc. [CYC] will host their 4th Annual Health Awareness event. The theme of this year’s event is recognizing people in our community who are champions. This year we will celebrate Tina Preston of Wilmington, Geoffrey Neu of Lake Placid and a Junior at the Lake Placid High School, Colin Preston.

The event will be held at the Wilmington Public Beach on Tuesday, August 27th from 6 to 8 pm. In addition to our champion stories, a variety of agencies will be present, Narcan and CPR training will be offered and there will be free refreshments. The event will conclude with a moving candlelight vigil.
