The Loon Celebration is one month away! Mark your calendars and join us on Sunday, October 5th for a day of fun!
The day begins with a chance to join ACLC staff on a guided paddle from 9 am - 11 am on Lake Clear to learn about loons from the comfort of your own boat. Registration is required - learn more at adkloon.org/paddles
Then join us at Paul Smith's Visitor Interpretive Center (VIC) for an afternoon of free family-friendly fun!
12 pm - 2 pm: Enjoy music by Fulton's Folly, food for purchase, kids' games and activities, face painting, guided nature walks by Northern New York Audubon, a chance to exchange lead fishing tackle for a $10 voucher, and more! Also, it's your last chance to purchase your Hornbeck boat raffle tickets!
2 pm - 3 pm: Show off your best loon call in the Loon Call Contest!
3 pm - 3:50 pm: Special guest speaker Jame Paruk, loon expert and author of "Loon Lessons" will present "A Journey Into the Loon World".
3:50 pm: Winner of the Hornbeck boat raffle will be drawn!
