Northern Current: A Community Music Festival, a free, family-friendly celebration of music, is set to return for its 2025 edition on Sunday of Labor Day Weekend - August 31, 2025 in Riverside Park.

Taking place at the picturesque Riverside Park with its beautiful backdrop of Lake Flower and Scarface Mountain, Northern Current offers a unique chance to experience world-class music in the heart of the Adirondacks. Along with an eclectic and diverse mix of bands, this year’s eventwill also feature stunning visual projections by The Station ADK, transforming the festival space into a mesmerizing visual experience.



Northern Current is a celebration of music, culture, and community. The festival will showcase a broad array of musical styles, ranging from Afrobeat to Rock to Americana and Soul, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The event is designed to be an inclusive, family-friendly experience that brings people together to enjoy the very best of live music.



With local food vendors on hand to satisfy your cravings and a Kid Zone full of fun activities, this will be a day for the whole family. This is a rain or shine event, with a large tent available to ensure everyone stays dry, if needed.



This fantastic event is organized by a small group of dedicated committee members. Additionally, members of our community sign up to volunteer for set up, tear down, and support during the event.
